SOARING GARDENS ARTISTS' RETREAT

Work in Tranquility: Soaring Gardens Artists’ Retreat offers residencies to visual artists, writers and composers between May and September. Residencies may be from three to eight weeks. Soaring Gardens has two locations about ten minutes apart; a house with a separate studio building and a converted church. They are located in diary country one hour west of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Depending on the nature of their work, the House can accommodate up to three working artists. The Church can accommodate two. Since the residents live closely together, we encourage group applications--which are given priority. A group may consist of people working in any combination of artistic disciplines. Residents shop and cook for themselves. Please apply on line at: www.lermantrust.org
